How do I know if I’m ready to start driving lessons?
You’re 17+ and have a provisional licence.
You want to learn (even if a bit nervous).
Do I need my provisional licence before booking lessons?
Yes — you need your provisional licence before you can start lessons.
You can book lessons in advance, but can’t drive until the licence arrives.
How do I apply for a provisional licence?
You can go to gov.uk/apply-first-provisional-driving-licence.
If you apply online it will cost £34 (or £43 by post)
